May 29, 2019 – In this article we take you to France to discover Camping Nature Parc L’Ardéchois, a camping facility nestled on the banks of the Ardèche river, immersed in nature, on a shaded and flat terrain. The facility offers active holiday opportunities suitable for all ages and has renewed its offer, also thanks to its collaboration with our company. It has numerous surprises in store for 2019. The camping facility’s PA, Hanneke Vorstermans, tells us more.
Describe the origins of your business
The facility was founded 35 years ago as a family business, by Maurice and Richard Chalvet, father and son. Over this long period of time, the family situation evolved and the business has grown from being a small camp site to a certified-quality 5-star facility. Fifteen years ago we joined Leading Campings of Europe, thus defining our belonging to the elite of European camping sites, qualifying our facility with accommodation solutions and premium services. Currently we are oriented towards seeking out innovative solutions for our customers. Glamping has been a major stimulus in this sense. A new kind of tourism is on the rise, in search of high standards in high quality contexts, where nature is prominent: from tree houses to floating homes, from luxury services to veritable luxury living solutions.
Did you find what you were looking for in Italy?
We did our research, came across and immediately chose CrippaConcept, a brand which embodies that touch of Italian glamour, a distinguishing feature of all its products. It won us over with its meticulous attention to detail, we seemed to see eye-to-eye right from the start. CrippaConcept pandered to all our special requirements, entirely focused on providing 100% what we were looking for. We started with the Hemingway model which is really popular with clientèle because its looks nothing like a traditional mobile home. It is large in size and provides guests with a customised space, even when on holiday. We immediately installed eight of them, our customers love them.
We are also convinced that the camping sector must never stop and it must continue to evolve. This is why we have introduced a new concept, denoted by a brand new word: campcooning, from camping + cocooning, meaning “camping in a very, cosy, chic & comfortable way”. After all, our region is not the same kind of glam than the Cote d’Azur, for example. Nature is the main attraction in this area and this also presents a significant added value.
In light of this we asked CrippaConcept to develop and build facilities for a mostly family-based tourism, catering to those looking for a stay in nature but with excellent services, generous spaces and above all, without having to pitch a tent for a weekend because they have the option of luxurious accommodation solutions for all the family. Yet again CrippaConcept successfully interpreted our requests and provided us with small customised units, the Next Evo bespoke Ardechois, with more spacious bathrooms compared to the standard, where parents can relax thanks to luxury services, while children can experience their very own camping adventure in the adjacent Babe Lodge. Our philosophy is to offer a superior quality environment nestled in a natural yet protected context, just waiting to be experienced as soon as you get out of your car, after a long journey and a long week. A formula which can be summed up in three words: luxury, nature and safety.
What attractions in the Ardèche region are worth visiting during a stay at your facilities?
Without a doubt anyone who stays at the Ardéchois must try a spot of canoeing on the Ardèche river, immersed in breathtaking landscapes, up to the Pont d’Arc, a natural arch over the river. A short distance away, the Chauvet-Pont d’Arc cave is a prehistoric masterpiece dating back to the Palaeolithic age, a UNESCO heritage site with a thousand or so cave paintings. The entire area is rich in unspoilt nature dotted by vineyards, with 17 cellars, typical cuisine, wonderful markets and countless excursion opportunities. At the Ardéchois guests will also find a Wellness Centre, an unmissable and important restaurant serving French cuisine, an array of activities and in the local area, the chance to enjoy bike rides, canoeing, climbing, walking or any kind of outdoor sports activities.
