The winners of Europe’s most prestigious award for outdoor tourism were announced Friday evening at the PiNCAMP Gala in Stuttgart.
Uwe Frers, CEO of PiNCAMP, emphasized the importance of the PiNCAMP Awards for the camping industry: “This award is as important to the camping industry as the Oscars are to the film industry. With the PiNCAMP Awards, we honor the trendsetters of the European camping sector.”
The announcement of the winners of the PiNCAMP Awards 2025 was presented by Crippaconcept, recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of mobile homes and lodge tents for outdoor tourism in Italy and the official partner of the PiNCAMP Gala for the fourth consecutive year.
An international committee of ten camping experts had previously selected the winners and nominees for the PiNCAMP Awards from hundreds of submissions from the camping industry. Among the 2025 winners, two Italian excellences stood out:
- La Rocca Camping Village in Bardolino (VR), awarded for the quality of its accommodations.
- ANWB Camping44 in Loro Piceno (MC).
Adding a touch of Italian flair, the prize awarded to the winners included the work ‘Alter Ego’ by Alessandro Piano, a Genoese artist known for his connection to the world of 1980s video games.
During the event, additional prestigious awards were presented, including the Young Talent Award to Nina Garvelink from the Netherlands, and a Hall of Fame induction for Roger Pla from France, a notable figure in the European camping industry.
