1. DATA CONTROLLER AND DATA PROTECTION OFFICER
The Data Controller is “Crippacampeggio S.r.l. a Socio Unico” (hereinafter, “Crippacampeggio”), headquartered in Corso Europa 12, Milano, acting as Controller of the processing described in this notice pursuant to Article 4(7) of EU Regulation 2016/679.
2. INFORMATION ABOUT THE COOKIE POLICY
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and which types we have implemented, including the information we collect and the ways the user may control their cookie preferences.
This Policy also informs the user about how the personal data collected by the Crippacampeggio.com portal is processed, stored, and securely archived.
The user may modify or withdraw their consent to the use of cookies on our website at any time.
3. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files sent by the visited website to the user’s device (usually the browser), where they are stored to allow the device to be recognised on subsequent visits. Each time the user returns to the website, cookies are resent from the device to the site.
Cookies may be installed not only by the operator of the website the user is visiting (first party cookies), but also by other websites that install cookies through the first website (third party cookies) and are capable of recognising them. This occurs because the visited website may include elements (images, maps, sounds, links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than the visited site.
According to the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Decision of 8 May 2014 (“Simplified arrangements to provide information and obtain consent for the use of cookies”), EDPB Guidelines 5/2020 on consent, the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Decision of 10 June 2021 (“Cookie Guidelines and other tracking tools”)
(collectively, “the Decisions”), third parties are responsible for providing notice and— when required—collecting consent for third party cookies.
The website operator, as a technical intermediary, must include in this extended notice updated links to third party notices and consent forms.
Cookies may be classified according to their purpose as technical cookies or profiling cookies.
Technical cookies
Technical cookies are installed solely for “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service” (Art. 122(1) of Legislative Decree 196/2003 – the Privacy Code – as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018).
They are typically used to ensure efficient navigation, store user preferences, store configuration information, perform user authentication, etc.
Technical cookies include:
- Navigation cookies, which store data necessary for normal browsing and use of the website (e.g. remembering page size preferences).
- Functional cookies, which store user choices to optimise functionality (e.g. language or country selection, or persistent login).
Some technical cookies (essential / strictly necessary) enable features without which certain operations could not be carried out.
Technical cookies do not require user consent.
Analytics cookies treated as technical cookies
Analytics cookies are treated as technical cookies (and therefore do not require consent) when:
- implemented and used directly by the first party, without third party involvement, and
- used solely to collect aggregated information about website usage for optimisation purposes,
and when appropriate measures are implemented to reduce identifiability (e.g. IP masking).
Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies track user behaviour for marketing purposes, create profiles regarding tastes, habits, and choices, and enable targeted advertising aligned with user preferences.
These cookies may only be installed if the user has provided consent under the terms defined in the Decisions.
Cookies may also be classified by duration as:
- Persistent cookies, stored until expiration unless deleted by the user;
- Session cookies, not stored persistently and deleted when the browser is closed.
